Άν δεν έχετε UV black light, οι αφίσες εξακολουθούν να φωσφορίζουν στο σκοτάδι και φυσικά είναι ορατές στο κανονικό φως.
Για καλύτερα glow-in-the-dark αποτελέσματα τοποθετήστε τις αφίσες κοντά σε μια πηγή δυνατού φωτός και αφήστε τουλάχιστον 30 λεπτά για φόρτιση.
Όσο πιο δυνατό το φώς και όσο πιο πολλή ώρα εκτεθούν σε αυτό οι αφίσες, τόσο πιο πολλή ενέργεια απορροφούν και τόσο πιο πολύ θα φωσφορίζουν.
Επιπλέον, όσο πιο σκοτεινό είναι το δωμάτιο αφού κλείσετε τα φώτα, τόσο πιό έντονο θα εμφανιστεί το εφφέ του νυχτερινού φωσφορισμού.
Μια πηγή φωτός black light θα φορτίσει τα πόστερς καλύτερα από ένα κανονικό φως και θα τα κάνει να φωσφορίζουν περισσότερο.
Εναλλακτικά, μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήστε λάμπες φθορισμού για φόρτιση (σωλήνες FT ή μικρές λάμπες οικονομίας CFL).
Οι παλιές λάμπες πυρακτώσεως δεν παρέχουν ικανοποιητική φόρτιση επειδή δεν εκπέμπουν υπεριώδες φώς.
